PURPOSE:To detect abnormality in an early time by integrating and detecting a gas in oil through a tubular permeable membrane projecting into an oil flow passage. CONSTITUTION:A permeable membrane type gas detector 13 is provided in an upper oil pipeline 12 of a cooler 11 for insulating oil of a transformer 10. A tubular gas permeable membrane 21 projects in the oil flow passage 19 of the detector 13 (25), and the gas permeated through the permeable membrane of ''Teflon '' or the like is integrated and detected by a gas detecting element 23 provided in the top part of a gas capturing chamber 22, and abnormality is sensed and alarmed by the output thereof. Thereby, the abnormality is detected in an early time. |
