METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SYNCHRONIZATION IN D2D COMMUNICATION

Disclosed are a synchronization method for communications between terminals, and a device thereof. The method comprises the following steps: sensing a base station synchronization signal while a synchronization signal generated by a terminal is transmitted; stopping the transmission of a first synchronization signal and determining whether a condition of synchronization relay is satisfied, if receiving power of the base station synchronization signal is larger than first reference power; relaying the base station synchronization signal if the condition of the synchronization relay is satisfied; and stopping the relay of the base station synchronization signal if the receiving power of the base station synchronization signal is smaller than second reference power which is smaller than the first reference power. The synchronization method for communications between terminals and the device thereof support the synchronization between terminals necessary for D2D communications.
