摘要 The present invention a grain evaluation method using the length and gap distribution of fine cracks on stones. The method improvise the conventional method of deriving various basic parameters regarding the three types of stone-cutting surfaces regarding the stone grain and determining the stone-cutting surface through simple comparison. The method derives the length distribution of the fine cracks regarding the six grains of stones, thereby accurately and objectively determining the strength of each grain of the rock. The method includes: a stone block obtaining step of obtaining square block of granite stones; a stone block surface cutting step of cutting the surface of the stone block in a direction parallel to three grains; a stone block division step of dividing the stone block into multiple square stone samples; a flake preparing step of preparing flakes parallel to three surfaces of the stone sample; a step of deriving a population of fine cracks formed in six directions intersecting on the three surfaces of the flakes and measuring the fine cracks in the six directions; and a grain strength evaluating step of coupling the length distribution and gap distribution of the measured fine cracks in the six directions to evaluate the relative strength of the three surfaces.
