PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of vibration in a drive mechanism of a multistage rolling mill.SOLUTION: A drive mechanism of a multistage rolling mill includes: a universal joint 9 to which rotary drive power is input; a coupling member 10 connected to the universal joint 9 so that the rotary drive power of the universal joint 9 is transmitted thereto; a drive shaft 11 for transmitting the rotary drive power of the coupling member 10 to a drive roll 7; and a shaft support part 12 for rotatably supporting the drive shaft 11; wherein a power transmission mechanism 13 for transmitting the rotary drive power of the coupling member 10 to the drive shaft 7 while permitting axial movement is arranged at a position located between the universal joint 9 and the drive roll 7 and axially overlapping the shaft support part 12. |
