<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure that can ensure reliable water-stop performance by forming, at a front end part of at least one of barrel pieces and a barrel bottom surface, an engaging part for engaging the barrel bottom surface and the barrel pieces when a crimp allowable part is brought into a crimped state. <P>SOLUTION: A connection structure comprises a crimp contact 10 including barrel pieces 32 and a barrel bottom surface 31, which constitute a crimp allowable part that crimps at least a conductor exposed part of a wire tip. The barrel pieces are respectively disposed on both sides of the barrel bottom surface in the width direction thereof. The barrel pieces are formed so that their length in the longitudinal direction thereof is longer than the length of the conductor exposed part, and are formed continuously in the longitudinal direction in order to continuously integrally surround from the conductor exposed part to the front end of an insulation coating.
