The present invention relates to a fuel supply system and a fuel supply method and, more specifically, relates to a fuel supply system and a fuel supply method. The fuel supply system pressurizes and heats BOG re-liquefied by a BOG re-liquefied system of a liquefied ethane gas (LEG) carrier to be supplied to an ME-GI engine to propel the LEG carrier. According to the present invention, a high pressure pump and a heater are separately installed to satisfy the BOG re-liquefied by the re-liquefied system installed in the LEG carrier to a required pressure and temperature of the ME-GI engine, and the fuel supply system can be constituted without a cryogenic equipment; thus improving economic feasibility.
