The present invention relates to a drying unit for a food waste disposer, which doubly dries finely pulverized food waste to increase drying efficiency, and to a food waste disposer using the same, which removes water from and dries finely pulverized food waste, and then discharges the dried food waste, and purifies and filters water generated from food wastes, and then discharges the water. The drying unit for a food waste disposer for pulverizing, compressing, and drying food waste comprises: a pair of pulverizing rollers which are driven by a driving unit and have a plurality of pulverizing gears coupled onto the outer edge portion thereof; and heater rods which are integrated into the pair of pulverizing rollers. As the pair of pulverizing rollers have the pulverizing gears to be engaged therebetween, one pulverizing roller driven by the driving unit can drive the other pulverizing roller, and pulverized rollers engaged with each other are spaced apart to maintain a predetermined distance therebetween. In addition, disclosed is a food waste disposer using the drying unit for a food waste disposer. |
