<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new construction method which can construct a pavement in a short construction period at low costs, with the pavement being capable of surely preventing a crack from being generated in a pavement because of occurrence of an earthquake, interrupting the flow of ground water in the longitudinal (vertical) direction of the pavement, smoothly draining in the horizontal direction, inhibiting washout of sediment, and surely enabling sand boil to be prevented from rising to a surface. <P>SOLUTION: An improved foundation 1 is constructed by laying a horizontal drainage waterproof sheet 5, which has a composition and structure capable of guiding and draining water generated due to liquefaction in the horizontal direction and suppressing upheaval of sediment, over closed conduits 3, 3 embedded at least along the outer edge of an excavated present ground 2, and moreover, interposing and laying a geotextile 8 for water-permeable crack prevention between a lower layer earth cover layer 70 and an upper layer earth cover layer 71 on the horizontal drainage waterproof sheet 5 to form an earth cover 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
