<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric parking brake device capable of determining a load target value corresponding to the gradient of a road surface in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The electric parking brake device includes a parking brake, an actuator, a gradient sensor, a load sensor and a control section. The control section performs load value determination for determining an actuator target load value and driving control for controlling the actuator so that the load by the actuator reaches the actuator target load value on the basis of the output of the load sensor. The control section determines an inflection point in the time series of gradient values from the gradient sensor in the load value determination and performs filter processing for calculating an estimated gradient by estimating the convergent value of gradient values on the basis of time series of gradient values after the inflection point and a predetermined filter coefficient to determine the actuator target load value on the basis of the estimated gradients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
