<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an automobile rear body which improves the automobile's torsion rigidity against a push-up load without inviting an increase in a body weight and costs. <P>SOLUTION: Right/left quarter members 11 and a lower back member 12 have almost cylindrical closed sections (a) and b, and are connected together so that the almost cylindrical closed sections (a) and b are continuous with each other.
