The number of acoustic sensors may be coupled to the support structure. The controller may be configured to control the support structure to change the spatial distribution of the number of acoustic sensors.

1. An apparatus comprising:
a structure configured to support an array of acoustic sensors, the structure comprising: a shape, and a component configured to change in a number of dimensions from a first shape to a deformed shape; the array of acoustic sensors connected to the structure, the array configured such that the deformed shape changes a physical location of a first acoustic sensor on the component with respect to a second acoustic sensor on the component; and a controller in communication with the array of acoustic sensors, wherein the controller is configured to receive data from the array of acoustic sensors and to control a shape changing system.
