Systems, methods, and devices for electronic spectrum management for identifying signal-emitting devices

Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for identifying a wireless signal-emitting device. A signal of interested is detected and filtered, the signal of interest is measured and a signal profile is created, the wireless signal-emitting device is identified by comparing the signal profile of the signal of interest with stored device signal profiles. Signal degradation data for the signal of interest is calculated based on information associated with the signal of interest in a static database including noise figure parameters of a wireless signal-emitting device outputting the signal of interest, hardware parameters, and environment parameters.

1. A system for identifying a wireless signal-emitting device, comprising:
at least one device operable for detection and isolation of a signal of interest from the wireless signal-emitting device; the at least one device operable to measure the signal of interest and create a signal profile of the signal of interest; the at least one device operable to compare the signal profile with stored device signal profiles for identification of the wireless signal-emitting device; the at least one device operable to calculate signal degradation data for the signal of interest based on information associated with the signal of interest in a static database including noise figure parameters of a wireless signal-emitting device outputting the signal of interest, hardware parameters, and environment parameters; the at least one device operable to permit storage of the signal profile of the signal of interest, signal degradation data, and profile comparison result; wherein the isolation of the signal of interest is through filtering and amplification of the signal of interest.
