The present invention provides a control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle drive system which suppresses degradation of apparatus durability caused by releasing a parking lock. When blocking rotation of a parking lock gear (82) is released by a shift switching device (58), blocking the rotation of the parking lock gear (82) is released while a clutch (CL2) is geared. An impact torque caused by leasing the parking lock is transferred to a first planetary gear device (14), an engine (12), a first motor (MG1), etc. to lessen the impact torque transferred to a second motor (MG2). In other words, an electronic control apparatus (30) for a drive apparatus (10) which suppresses degradation of apparatus durability caused by releasing the parking lock can be provided. |
