<p>Provided is a friction pad assembly capable of reducing cost and increasing productivity by requiring less machining accuracy of components used or reducing the number of components. A plurality of lining assemblies (13) mounted on a guide plate (11) include a friction material (21) and a back plate portion (22) fixedly attached to a back surface of the friction material (21). The back plate portion (22) includes: a plate fitting portion (22a) with an outer peripheral surface rotatably fitted in a guide opening portion (11a) of the guide plate (11); a retainer flange portion (22b) having a larger outer diameter than the guide opening portion (11a); and a curved convex portion (22c) bulging from the center of the retainer flange portion (22b) on the side of a torque receiving plate (3). The lining assemblies (13) receive a pressing force from the torque receiving plate (3) via a spring member (24) mounted between the back surface of the back plate portion (22) and the torque receiving plate (3).</p> |
