<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking water supply system and a drinking water supply method that can effectively limit the amount of supplied drinking water. <P>SOLUTION: A card unit 20 is provided, for setting a card 30 capable of storing a value (degree) which is based upon a period in which a water supply button 7 is operated. A drinking water supply device 1 supplies drinking water in a bottle 2 only for the period in which the water supply button 7 is operated, and the value (degree) based upon the period is stored in the card 30.
