<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag device that prevents unpredictable rotation of a cushion part generated during an initial stage of inflation and expansion, and allows the cushion part to properly expand between a rider and a sidewall of a vehicle cabin.SOLUTION: A curtain airbag device which is stored at an upside of a sidewall of a vehicle cabin, comprises: a cushion part 140 that is stretched in forward/backward directions of a vehicle, is stored in a state rolled up from a bottom edge to a top edge, and inflates and expands downwards when gas is supplied; and a long protector 180 that covers the cushion part 140. The protector 180 comprises a rotation-prevention part 194 which is integrated with the protector 180 and which interacts with an assist grip bracket 192, which is affixed to a vehicle body around the protector 180, to prevent the cushion part 140 from rotating.</p> |
