PURPOSE:To accurately position a picture relative to a vessel, by irradiating a laser beam to put an alignment mark. CONSTITUTION:An exposure unit 15 comprising a light source 16 for exposure for manufacturing a fluorescent surface 4, a protrusion 17 for indicating a reference position and a laser beam irradiator 18 is provided. Face glass 3 is accurately placed on the exposure unit 15 by making an alignment pad 12 coincident with the protrusion 17. To manufacture the fluorescent surface 4, a fluorescent film is exposed to ultraviolet rays emitted from the light source 16 and transmitted through apertures 9. A hole 10 is masked so that the part of the fluorescent film which corresponds to an alignment mark 20 is not exposed to the rays. The fluorescent film is exposed to a laser beam 19 transmitted from the laser irradiator 18. Since the positional relationship between the protrusion 17 and the laser irradiator 18 is very accurately set on the exposure unit 15, the exposure is effected in an accurate position where the alignment mark 20 is to be made. |
