摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for nitrous oxide decomposition, which exerts high activity at low temperature, and can efficiently decompose and remove nitrous oxide, even when nitrogen oxide or carbon dioxide is contained in a treatment gas, without being affected thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for nitrous oxide decomposition contains an oxide of cobalt as a catalyst A component and a compound of at least one metal element selected from the groups 2-3 and 11-15 as a catalyst B component.
