<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration of a building during an earthquake and vibration of a vehicle body of a vehicle during travel by a mechanical constitution without use of electronic components such as a sensor and an electronic control device, thus having reduced risk of failure. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration damping device includes: an oil pressure source A for generating oil pressure; a switching device 10 for outputting oil pressure supplied from the oil pressure source A by switching between an oil path p2 and a second oil path p2 in response to vibration in one direction and other direction of a first inertia body M1; and an actuator 20 having a base part B connected to the first inertia body M1 and a second inertia body M2 movable in one direction and other direction with respect to the base part B. The actuator 20 urges the second inertia body M2 in one direction by the oil pressure supplied from the oil path p2 to cause reaction in other direction to act to the first inertia body M1, and urges the second inertia body M2 in other direction by oil pressure supplied from the oil path p3 to cause reaction in one direction to act to the first inertia body M1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
