PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent UFP from being generated from a fixing frame.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus (laser printer 1) includes: a fixing apparatus 18 having a heating roller 41, a heater (halogen lamp 60) arranged in the heating roller 41 and having one end protruding from an opening 41A of the heating roller 41, and a fixing frame 100 supporting a terminal arranged at one end of the heater, and a terminal cover (right terminal cover 400) covering at least a part of the terminal; and a body frame 2 supporting the fixing apparatus 18. The terminal cover includes a first heat-shielding section 430 which is formed of a member which starts generating UFP at a higher temperature than the fixing frame 100, and overlaps at least a part of the opening 41A of the heating roller 41 when seen from an axial direction of the heating roller 41. The first heat-shielding section 430 is arranged between the opening 41A of the heating roller 41 and the fixing frame 100. |
