PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block capable of holding a position of a spacer inserted in a water jacket.SOLUTION: In a cylinder block 10, a spacer 20 is inserted in a water jacket 12 formed around a cylinder bore 11. The spacer 20 is provided with a recessed portion 21 forming a liquid chamber 16 in the water jacket 12, and an opening for making cooling water flow in the liquid chamber 16 formed by the recessed portion 21 and throttling a flow rate of the cooling water flowing in. The spacer 20 is arranged in the water jacket 12 while making a surface on which the recessed portion 21 is provided abut on a wall surface of the water jacket 12. |
