PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of generating sufficient creep force with a start-up motor while suppressing vibration when starting up an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device is mounted on a vehicle having an ISG motor driven by electric power supplied from at least either a main battery or a sub-battery and controls a start-up of an engine with driving force of the ISG motor. The vehicle control device executes: start-up control to increase an engine rotation speed Ne by supplying the electric power from the main battery to the ISG motor when a predetermined start-up condition is met; and maintaining control to maintain the engine rotation speed Ne at a predetermined target rotation speed after executing the start-up control by supplying the electric power from the main battery or the sub-battery to the ISG motor. |
