PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method of a flue gas where dust in an exhaust gas from the flue gas is separated and removed by a simple facility using a dry electrostatic precipitator and a high dust removal ratio can be stably maintained.SOLUTION: A processing method of a flue gas exhausted from a combustion process S10 heat-processing a raw material includes an exhaust gas purification step S20 in which an exhaust gas cooling processing ST21 cooling the flue gas and a dust collection processing ST22 collecting dust in the flue gas after the exhaust gas cooling processing ST21 by a dry electrostatic precipitator are performed. In the exhaust gas cooling processing ST21, the flue gas is cooled by the spray of cooling water to 230°C or higher and 305°C or lower.
