PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device for a vehicle capable of being reduced in a size and a weight by preventing frictional force between a side gear and a washer from becoming instable.SOLUTION: A differential device 1 for a vehicle to distribute driving force of a driving source of the vehicle to a pair of output shafts, includes a differential case 2, first and second pinion gears 31, 32 rotatably supported by the differential case 2, first and second side gears 4, 5 engaged with the first and second pinion gears 31, 32 and respectively connected to the pair of output shafts, and a center washer 70, a first end washer 71 and a second end washer 72 having sliding faces slid on an axial end face of at least one of the side gears, and lubricated by a lubricant in sliding on the sliding face. Surface treatment is performed on the center washer 70, the first end washer 71 and the second end washer 72 to improve solid lubrication performance. |
