PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is excellent in performance and safety without increasing the number of manufacturing processes.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes the steps of: forming a coating film containing an organic solvent mixture paste on the surface of a current collector so that the surface of the current collector at the end in the width direction of the current collector is exposed; and installing a water-based mixture paste whose solid concentration is 80% or more at the end of the coating film in the width direction of the current collector.
