PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin comprising water soluble polyimide, which is capable of being applied for an existing electrode coating facility, is capable of reducing an environmental load, and also improves mechanical strength.SOLUTION: An electrode is manufactured by adding and dispersing an active material and a conductive assistant into an aqueous binder composition to be coated, dried and cured on a collector, the aqueous binder composition containing tertiary amine, polyimide having a carboxyl group and/or a hydroxyl group, and a crosslinking agent having two or more functional groups capable of reacting with a carboxyl group and/or a hydroxyl group. |
