PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ant-proof power cable which keeps bending characteristics of the cable and is excellent in long-term water shielding performance.SOLUTION: In an ant-proof power cable, a sliding layer 17 is provided on the outer peripheral side of a resin sheath 15, and the sliding layer 17 is composed of a plurality of tape-like members. The sliding layer 17 slides the resin sheath 15 on the inner peripheral side and an ant-proof layer 19 on the outer peripheral side. A tape-like members 21a is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the resin sheath 15, and a tape-like member 21b is wound further around the outer periphery of the wound tape-like member 21a. The tape-like members 21a and 21b are cloth tapes composed of a nonwoven or woven fabric having no adhesive or binder. The tape-like members 21a and 21b are composed of fibers made of, for example, polyester, nylon, cotton or polypropylene. If the tape-like member is composed of a rubber tape or a simple resin tape having a smooth resin surface, instead of a cloth tape, mutual sliding of the resin tapes is suppressed undesirably. |
