PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to appreciate a composite image well when displaying a plurality of images while synthesizing, by controlling the display direction of a composite image depending on the orientation during shooting.SOLUTION: A camera 100 includes a main camera 101a for obtaining at least first image data, and an in-camera 300 for obtaining second image data when obtaining the first image data. A system control section 50 detects the orientation of the main camera as a reference orientation by means of an orientation sensor 301, records the first image data, in association with the reference orientation, in a recording medium 200, and records the second image data. A system control section obtains composite image data by synthesizing the first image data and second image data, and when displaying an image depending on the composite image data on a display 28, controls display of the composite image depending on the relationship of the direction of the in-camera to the reference orientation. |
