PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss in a drive transistor that drives an LED array.SOLUTION: An LED array drive circuit includes: a voltage control unit 20 including a voltage regulator 21 outputting a variable voltage; an LED array unit 30 including an LED array circuit 31 to which an output voltage V1 of the voltage regulator 21 is applied and in which a drive transistor Q1 and an LED array 1 comprising n LEDs are connected in series; and a control unit 40 configured to subject the drive transistor Q1 to PWM dimming control and control the output voltage V1 of the voltage regulator 21 of the voltage control unit 20 so that a voltage between a collector and an emitter of the drive transistor Q1 attains an appropriate voltage. |
