PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump control device of construction machine having a repelling volume of a main pump limited to a small volume when an attachment is operated in which when a specified operation is carried out while the attachment driven by an actuator for the attachment having a large requisite flow rate is installed, the actuator for the corresponding attachment can be operated at a fast speed.SOLUTION: This invention is constituted in such a way that, when a thumb operating device 21 is operated in an assumption that a drilling work carried out while a thumb 10 driven by a thumb cylinder 10A having a high requested flow rate is installed, a controller 26 makes null of a controlling of a regulator 14a under an operation of a limited inclination setting part 26a constituting a pump inclination limiting part for limiting a repelling volume of a pump 12, and a processing part making inclination limiting null including a maximum inclination setting part 26b and an inclination selecting part 26c so as to cause the repelling volume of the pump 12 to have the maximum repelling volume.
