PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it is time-consuming for a portable terminal to acquire facsimile data received in the reception BOX of a facsimile, by scanning a printed facsimile document, or via e-mail by setting a mail address.SOLUTION: A portable terminal has communication means performing short-range wireless communication with a peripheral device, means for switching from short-range wireless communication by the communication means to other communication path, and acquisition means for transmitting the authentication information of the facsimile to the peripheral device by the communication means, and acquiring facsimile data corresponding to the authentication information from the peripheral device via the other communication path. |
