PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor which is adapted to service conditions and vibrational states of various load devices.SOLUTION: An electric motor M includes: an electric motor body 1; a fan motor 2 which cools the electric motor body 1; and a casing 3 which is attached to the electric motor body 1 and stores the fan motor 2. The fan motor 2 has engagement parts 2E. Engagement parts 1E, 3E which engage with the engagement parts 2E of the fan motor 2 and fix the fan motor 2 are provided at both of the electric motor body 1 and the casing 3.
