PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify substances inhibiting hircus.SOLUTION: A search method of hircus inhibitor comprises the steps of: adding test materials and hircus causative agents into at least one kind of olfactory receptor polypeptides selected from a group consisting of OR1A1, OR2W1, OR2J3, OR10A6, OR51B2, OR51E1, OR51I2, and polypeptides having at least 80% amino acid sequence identity to each of them; measuring a response of the olfactory receptor polypeptide to hircus causative agents; and identifying the test materials inhibiting the response of the olfactory receptor polypeptide on the basis of the response measured. |
