PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge that enables a state of deposition of an atmosphere communication port sealing film on a housing to be easily confirmed even when the atmosphere communication port sealing film has a small cover opening and is present on an inner side from the cover opening, and is in a secure sealing state to be highly reliable.SOLUTION: There is provided an ink cartridge which can be mounted on and removed from a cartridge mounting part of a printer which has a projection for piercing a sealing film deposited to seal an atmosphere communication port. The ink cartridge externally has a protection part in a projection-trajectory outer region in cartridge mounting/removing, and also has a deposition rib part which is newly deposited when a sealing film is deposited by a predetermined amount. |
