PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and reliably detect an operation error which is generated when a joint metal fitting is caulked to a hose.SOLUTION: By elongation of a hydraulic cylinder 34, a caulking claw 32 moves in a radial direction inner side, thereby deforming a socket side cylindrical part 26 in a radial direction inner side and caulking the same. A hydraulic sensor 38 constitutes a reaction force measuring part which measures a reaction force acting on the hydraulic cylinder 34, detects a hydraulic pressure, which is a pressure of a working fluid supplied to the hydraulic cylinder 34, and measures a reaction force on the basis of the hydraulic pressure. A caulking determination part 40B determines whether or not a caulking force, which is given onto a joint metal fitting part from the caulking claw 32 on the basis of a maximum hydraulic pressure X which represents a maximum value of a reaction force measured by the hydraulic sensor 38 falls within a predetermined qualified range. |
