PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide solar heat utilization type fresh water production equipment which is substantially extended in operation time and increased in fresh water production efficiency, compared with conventional apparatuses.SOLUTION: A compound desalination method includes a first thermal conversion of converting high-temperature heat input which is inputted from the outside and has a first temperature equal to or higher than a specified temperature into a moderate-temperature heat output having a second temperature 50°C or more lower than the first temperature and a second heat conversion of converting the moderate-temperature heat output into a low-temperature output having a third temperature 20°C or more lower than the second temperature.
