PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing dryer whose configuration is not complex, which can sufficiently achieve reduction in power consumption and which can shorten drying time.SOLUTION: A clothing dryer includes: a drying chamber; a circulation device for performing circulation for returning the air in the drying camber into the drying chamber through a ventilation flue 19 provided outside of the drying chamber, by an operation of a blower for circulation; and dehumidification means for dehumidifying the circulation air and heating means for heating the circulation air provided in the ventilation flue 19. At least at one part of the ventilation flue 19, a moisture absorbing/releasing member 33 is provided having a moisture absorbing function for absorbing moisture from the circulation air and a moisture releasing function for naturally releasing moisture. |
