The invention is all weather protective cover in bulk cargo loading and discharging using loader and unloader equipment, respectively. These are made of tarpaulin totally covering the hatch opening, overhanging on sides. Pneumatic tarpaulin tubes are inserted between the tarpaulin cover and hatch coaming providing ventillation space. The loader/unloader is skirted with waterproof cloth and pneumatic tarpaulin hemline to enclose working port. This port is used to bring in and out mini-equipment used inside the working hatch. A pneumatic tarpaulin cover opens and closes the port by inflation and deflation, respectively. The overhangs on both ventillation sides can be dropped to enclose the working hatch. It is adaptable to all types of hatch covers: sliding, folding, single-pull and pontoon hatch covers. It is applicable only to bulk terminals with watertight and closed-type conveyor systems. |
