PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an image having been improved excellently in resolution by reducing multiple images and artifacts while suppressing calculation costs.SOLUTION: There is provided an image processing device including: image acquisition means of acquiring a plurality of low-resolution images picked up in time series; positioning means of generating a high-resolution image having the plurality of low-resolution images position in an image space of high resolution based upon movements between the low-resolution images; correlation calculation means of calculating correlation information representing a degree of correlation between corresponding regions of low-resolution images corresponding to a partial region of the high-resolution image for the partial region; and image composition means of calculating a composition ratio of the high-resolution image and an image as an object of composition for each partial region based upon the correlation information, and putting the high-resolution image and an image having lower resolution than the high-resolution image as the object of composition together according to the composition ratio, composition ratio calculation means calculating a composition ratio for each partial region so that a region having lower correlation has a small ratio of the high-resolution image and a region having higher correlation has a larger ratio of the high-resolution image.
