PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a USB receptacle in which stabilized contact state of a detection pin and a plug shell can be maintained, even if a USB plug is shifted to any direction.SOLUTION: For a detection pin 50, a first contact part 54 and a second contact part 60 for holding a portion of a plug shell when fitting the USB plug and USB receptacle, is provided. The first contact part 54 and second contact part 60 satisfy an inequality (b-a)<T, where (a) is the distance from the center of the USB receptacle to the first contact part 54 in the Y direction, b is the distance from the center to the second contact part 60, and T is the plate thickness of a standard shell of a standard USB plug compliant with the USB standard. |
