PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-shaped antibacterial material that can achieve both durability and high antibacterial activity and that is suitable for a long-term actual use in antibacterial application areas under water-mediation (such as bad smell causing Actinomycetes).SOLUTION: Provided is a sheet-shaped antibacterial material characterized in comprising antibacterial agent comprising a basic compound, and fibrous fluorine-containing polymer binder; the porosity of said sheet-shaped antibacterial material is 30 to 80 volume%; said basic compound includes CaO and/or Ca(OH); and said basic compound is calcined shell powder.
