PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of obtaining a color arrangement within a reference range corresponding to the progress of scanning of image processing in the image processing for an image where color arrangement information shows a repeated pattern.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a pattern register for holding a minimum pattern of the color arrangement information repeated with the pixel arrangement of an imaging device for obtaining an electric signal by performing photoelectric conversion on optical information; an operation register for holding the color arrangement information within the reference range including a pixel of interest and a reference pixel on the basis of the color arrangement information held by the pattern register; and a correction processing section for selecting a pixel on the basis of the color arrangement information held by the operation register and applying the image processing to the pixel of interest. The color arrangement information within the reference range can be easily obtained in accordance with the progress in the image processing to the image of which the color arrangement information shows the repeated pattern, in such a manner that the color arrangement information held by the operation register is updated in accordance with the pixel of interest. |
