PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a truck frame for railway vehicle capable of efficiently forming a skirt part, on a weld part between a long member and a metallic pipe.SOLUTION: A long member 5X comprising: a body part 510 extending in a first direction; and a pair of projecting parts 511X projecting in both sides of a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, from one end of the first direction, is used. An end side L1 of the respective projecting part on one end side of the first direction of the long member 5X is disposed along a side part 40 of a lateral beam pipe 4 formed of a long metallic pipe, and is coupled by weldment. The long member 5X is finished for forming a connection beam 5. At the time, width in the first direction of the respective projecting part is gradually reduced toward a projecting direction of the respective projecting part from both side parts of the body part 510 along the first direction, and a skirt part 511 continuous to the body part 510 and having a tip end P on a terminal of the respective projecting part in the projecting direction, after finishing, is formed. |
