PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data analysis apparatus configured to generate a rule or acquire knowledge by repeating: selecting two parent rules from a collation set extracted from a set of rules including a conclusion section which may have a continuous value; creating two child rules from the two parent rules by use of an AT value; and adding the created child rules to the rule set, a data analysis method, a care support system, or knowledge acquisition method thereof.SOLUTION: A rule generation apparatus includes: storage means for storing a rule set and a collation set; collation set generation means which generates the collation set from the rule set; and GA application means which updates rules constituting the rule set, on the basis of the generated collation set, by use of genetic algorithm. The rule generation apparatus repeats modifying data to be selected by the collation set generation means from multiple pieces of data, and adding two child rules created by the GA application means to the rule set, to update rules constituting the rule set. |
