PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve real-time card payment which is linked with an account of a banking institution, without making a large-scale modification in a backbone system of the banking institution.SOLUTION: In a real-time card payment system, a backbone server 10 of a banking institution includes: a dedicated account setting section 11 for setting a separate deposit account or an ordinary deposit account opened for a card user as a prepaid dedicated account; and an automatic withdrawal processing section 13 for making a withdrawal by an amount paid in the prepaid dedicated account to a receiving account of a card issuing company. Further, in the system, a card management server 20 of the card issuing company and the like includes an approval processing section 21 for monitoring the prepaid dedicated account and when detecting a payment, making approval and settling the paid amount as a payable amount in the card payment. Real-time payment can be achieved by only setting the separate deposit account and the like originally provided in the banking institution as the prepaid dedicated account, and building a mechanism in which the prepaid dedicated account is monitored by the card management server 20. |
