PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact energy absorbing body which is expanded in a degree of freedom of the setting of an impact absorbing rib composed of a salient part though the body is simple in constitution.SOLUTION: An impact energy absorbing body 10 which is formed by molding a plate-shaped resin material comprises a flat base part 11, and a salient part 12 which protrudes from one face of the base part 11, is reflected at the other face, and has a recessed part 14. The salient part 12 has a first sidewall 12S1 arranged at a side of the base part 11, and a second sidewall 12S2 arranged at a side opposite to the base part 11 via the first sidewall 12S1 and a bent part BD. The second sidewall 12S2 is larger than the first sidewall 12s1 in an inclination angle with respect to the base part 11. |
