PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a developing unit including an inlet for receiving toner from a toner cartridge and toner conveyance means for conveying the received toner to both longitudinal ends, overflowing toner coagulates near an opening of the inlet, thereby causing difficulty supplying toner.SOLUTION: A developing unit includes: a toner storage section 53 having a toner inlet 52 and storing toner 4 dropping from the toner inlet; a toner guide member 62 extending in a longitudinal direction of a developing roller 6 and arranged opposite to the toner inlet 52, to receive the dropping toner; a spiral shaft section 64 arranged between the toner inlet 52 and the toner guide member 62, and extending in a longitudinal direction, to convey the toner 4 on the toner guide member 62 along the toner guide member 62; and a toner agitation section 65 arranged in an opening area of the toner inlet 52 in the longitudinal direction, and held by the spiral shaft section 64. |
