PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heating type catalyst device for suppressing the breakage of comb-like wirings near their roots located at both ends in a support axial direction.SOLUTION: The electric heating type catalyst device includes: a support 10 for supporting a catalyst; a surface electrode 20 extending over the outer peripheral face of the support 10 in a support axial direction of the support; a wiring member 30 having root parts 32 extending in the support axial direction and comb-like wirings 31 extending from the root parts 32 in a support peripheral direction and fixed to the surface electrode 20; an outer cylinder 70 covering the outer peripheral face of the support 10; and a holding member 50 filled between the support 10 and the outer cylinder 70 for holding the support 10, the support 10 being adapted to be electrically heated via the surface electrode 20 and the wiring member 30. In the root parts 32 of the wiring member 30, slits 34 are provided extending from the outer edges in the peripheral direction of the support 10, respectively. |
