PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-water separation system and method that can efficiently treat an oil-water mixed liquid containing oil droplets and suspended matter having various particle diameters in a space saving manner.SOLUTION: An oil-water separation system according to one embodiment of the present invention is an oil-water separation system for separating water-insoluble oil from an oil-water mixed liquid and comprises an adsorption tower unit including one or more adsorption tower modules, and a filter unit including one or more filtration membrane modules in this order. The adsorption tower module includes a cylindrical body installed vertically or horizontally, and a plurality of treatment layers including a plurality of particles and divided along the axial direction of the body. The filter module comprises a filter tank, a plurality of hollow fiber membranes arranged in the filter tank and held in a unidirectionally aligned state, and a holding member for fixing both ends of the plurality of hollow fiber membranes. |
