PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving device-to-device (D2D) communication.SOLUTION: The method of reporting a buffer status of inter-device communication includes a step of triggering a buffer status report (BSR) at a time of configuring or setting up a wireless resource allocation mode 1 of D2D communication while user equipment (UE) has transmittable data for D2D communication. The method further includes a step in which the UE transmits a media access control (MAC) element corresponding to the BSR.
